7 Steps to Health and the Big Diabetes Lie is a book created by Dr. Max Sidorov. Sidorov dedicated his book to being all about the diabetes program – compiling scientifically proven data from  researchers from all over the world. Sidorov claims that diabetes is completely reversible without the need of taking drugs and pills – almost to the point of complete eradication.

In his book, Sidorov includes about 20 chapters and 540 pages about nutrition and other facts that will help to cure the diabetes completely without any medication.

(The Author) Sidorov’s Perspective Dr. Max Sidorov

Max Sidorov is a nutritionist and head researcher who specializes in diabetes, blood sugar, and insulin. He also is lead by a strict moral compass.

In Sidorov’s mind, we (the readers) are among the few who know the secrets, while pharmaceutical companies are attempting to cover up the truth.

He then goes on to state that most doctors advise only about  using pills, drugs, injections and surgery for the diabetes treatment and management, purposefully avoiding recommending a cheaper  and more effective method. This is not entirely unbelievable, after all if they shared cheaper methods then the pharmaceuticals would make less money themselves.

7 Steps to Health- How It Works

Diabetes book

The book comes with a 30-day diabetes plan that challenges to melts away your diabetes with a simple steps. However, it is totally on you to follow the exact protocol with no exception to get the best result.

The book talks about certain foods that can cause or worsen diabetes. Some of these foods include sugar, fats, meat and white meat products, white flour, and excessive use of salt, tea and coffee. The harmful effects of these foods are plentiful and should of course be taken into consideration. White sugar consumption is on a rise worldwide and shows no signs of ever slowing down.

Parallel to the increased consumption of white sugar is an alarming increase in the incidence of diabetes. Evidence that suggests white sugar is harmful to health continues to mount. 7 Steps To Health And The Big Diabetes Lie highlights that more cases of diabetes can be traced to over consumption of sugar.

The Big Diabetes Lie also pays special attention to a low-fat food and advises readers to lessen the fast food and white foods such as white pasta and gluten containing grains. Instead, we are instructed to focus on real food and real water that allow our bodies to clean up detox and lose the weight once for all. The info instructed here is well laid out and easy to digest – pun fully intended and I don’t care if you hate me for it.

7 Steps to Health Book Commonly Asked Questions

Is this going to get me off my medications?

Possibly! After a month of following the typical ADA diet and Metformin prescription I was able to ween off after a couple of weeks of following Sidorov’s guide. I’ve always been a big proponent of using natural methods to cure yourself, but it was a bit hard to do that with a chronic illness such as Diabetes. It can also be hard to stay to a boring routine (only eat X meals with no/little carbs etc and take shots everyday/every 12 hours etc) and these are all aspects that the 7 Steps to Health Diabetes Guide addressed and educated me on – as well as making more fun with giving more options. However, it won’t work the same for everyone.

Does this work for Type 1 Diabetes as well?

I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t, seeing as Type 1 Diabetes is more of an autoimmune disorder. Type 2 diabetes is really the version that you can really treat by making good lifestyle and diet changes, and this book is the perfect guide for doing so if you just don’t know where to start.

7 Steps Pros and Perceived Cons

Pros

  • The  book is informative and helpful and easy to understand, delivering self-management education

Cons

  • Include lots of conspiracy theory that criticized pharma companies
  • Require to change your lifestyle in order to get the best result from this book
  • Some of the points in this book are debatable that specifies like pharmaceutical conspiracy theory, eating meat  a silent killer
  • Alcohol, Meat and caffeine are strongly discouraged or suggested to be limited
  • If you follow this plan, framed by this book than you are likely to go for a vegetarian or paleo diet. Be prepared to change your diet

7 Steps to Health Review – My Experience

Before I decided to write this seven steps to health and the big diabetes lie review, I’ve been using the program for the past six months and it’s definitely made dealing with diabetes a lot easier for me, and better. This book has been nothing but a blessing. Before I got this treatment book I was just depending on typical slightly diabetes centered diets and metformin to deal with my symptoms. The diet was boring and the metformin dosage got tedious.

Seven steps to health definitely changed all of that and made it a whole lot easier for me to deal with diabetes! Reading through the book it was a breeze to understand what exactly Sidorov was looking to inform the readers about as far as diabetes treatments go.

Nowadays informing people about the misgivings they may have about diabetes, or various diabetes treatments is easier than ever. And I also have no problem creating foods that go perfectly with a diabetic diet. My best friend also has type II diabetes and lately she’s been giving the money to go out and cut dinner for to both of us because she already knows that my food isn’t going to lead her to having a serious spike in her blood sugar levels. The best part about the book for me was that most of the food suggestions were easy to implement and already tasty.

2 1/2 years after my diagnosis and usage of the 7 steps book. Even though the methods revolve around improving your diet and your lifestyle, I was SHOCKED at how much weight it helped me lose.

I got the seven steps book from their official website here received the immediately upon purchasing it. If you didn’t know you can get the book and any e-book format which will deliver instantly, or you can order it hardcopy and receiving in the mail whenever. I’m an e-book kind of person myself, I understand the value a hardcopy would have any could also pass it along to your friends and families who might need it as well.

Overall Rating: 95/100  A

The Big Diabetes Lie book provides incredibly detailed information in a format that is easy to understand and easy to implement into your life. How effective its methods are ultimately falls upon you, the reader, and how well you can bring them about. It’s a scary notion, but I fully believe that at the end of the day, once you have this ebook, how well you can combat diabetes will rest solely on your shoulders versus the shoulders of anyone else.

It gives you everything you could possibly need and asks you the question, “What are you going to do about your health now?”. I highly recommend this ebook if you are struggling with diabetes. This review is well received!

  6. Elaine Coreman says:

I was taken in and ordered this online book – advertised at $27.00. Did not realize that in Canadian dollars that is over $50.00. This book dedicates the first 400 pages to what is wrong with most doctors and most diabetes treatments available today. The endless video I watched before you are able to order the book said that once you were cured of diabetes, you could eat whatever and whenever you wanted to. Obviously not the truth according to the actual book. Once I got to the acutal diet and realized that for 30 days you would have to eat nothing but fruit and vegetables, nuts and seeds and multiple vitamins etc. I realized I couldn’t possibly follow this diet for even 1 day!!

    1. Steam Spoils says:

Sorry for your experience. Hopefully you come back to the book though.

  7. Randy says:

Hi all, just a quick update I have followed the book 90% for the last few months my sugurs are down and coming off medication so stick to it guys, even if you go off the rails for a week or two, just get straight back on…

  35. JuliaCove says:

I bought this book a month ago and I am slowly switching my eating habits to what the book suggests, my insulin unit count is down by four units and my weight is down by 15 pounds, my digestion has improved. I am finding when I eat a lot less animal protein and alot more raw foods I’m less hungry and feel great. I’m still in the beginning of the trial but if my results continue to show such great results this book will be the best money I’ve ever spent in my entire life being a diabetic for 18 years.

    1. Steam Spoils says:

Congratulations on buying the book and **sticking to it!**

  41. Ben says:

Most people don’t know what they to do if they want to reverse their diabetes, that is why books like this are very helpful. Just becuase you know what to do doesn’t mean hundreds of milion of types 2 diabetics around the world know what to do. That is why their diabet is in the 1st phase.

  42. Larry says:

Eating the wrong things has “a little” something to do with a problem, as most of them are told to ea the wrong food

  43. Mary says:

Hey I have diabetes type 2. I have never benn over weight and I have always used to have a balanced diet. Please don’t make assuptions about people which has type 2. I also had gestional diabetes when i was pregnant and then later had a hysterectomy which is also said to be linked to type 2. It’s not the same for the everybody.

  44. Michael says:

But do they tell you to avoid breads and starches because they said that it raises your blood sugar than sugar? Do they told you to avoid sugar free items as it also can affect your pancreas and cause weight again. Yes i know all this without using the book. If you don’t want to try this book try a paleo diet.

  45. Andy says:

Anyone who says “all type 2 diabetics has to get their butt of the couch – bla bla bla” is lying and doesn’t know what they are talking about. My wife which in 40 years has weight about 115 and in 5,5 tall. She is an insulin dependent becuase of type 2 diabetes. She is active and she never rests. All the children (7) says that she is super woman

  46. Gareth says:

I’m not sold on the idea the book is the secret to your change. I wonder if walking 2 miles or 5-6 a week is the secret? Anyway Congratulations to you!!

  47. Charles says:

I’ve lost weight a couple of times as a diabetic. When I was first diagnosed I was only about twenty pounds overweight. I lost this pounds and my blood sugar did not get down. Fifteen years later, ballooned to fifty pounds overweight. Now I lost 40 pounds but my sugar blood continued to raise. Other people have gone through same situation. Futhermore, I know a lot of people who are overweight who do not have diabetes and I know people who are thin and have diabetes (i think that they have type 1) most of this seems to be hereditary.

  48. Martin says:

She may have an autoimmune component to her disease. Some type II diabetes patients do. It’s actually a third type that is somewhere between type I and type II. Not many in the medical comunity seems to know or to talk about the third one much. It might be a good idea to check and see if she has the third type – by an open minded MD.
